How to find a recipe here

The search box matches from the start of any word in a recipe’s name or its category — so “apple” brings up Apple Pie and Apple Crisp but leaves Pineapple Upside-Down Cake alone, and “choc” is enough to reach the chocolate cake. The chips above narrow by course, and the two work together: choose Puddings, type “rice”, and you land straight on the rice pudding.

What’s in the collection

108 tested recipes, sorted into six parts of the kitchen. A recipe can live in more than one — 22 of them do, which is why an apple tart turns up under both baking and puddings.

Good to know

Questions about the recipe box

How many recipes are on the site?

108 at the moment, and every one was cooked and tested in an ordinary home kitchen before it went up. We add more as we test them.

How does the search work?

Can I change the number of servings?

Yes. Every recipe page has a servings control above the ingredients — change it and all the quantities rescale instantly.
